Works Applications, Japan based ERP Firm Enters US Market, Offers HCM Application

Japan based ERP Applications provider Works Applications plans to enter US market with its ERP suites, to start with its a eyeing space in HCM market a very competitive and crowded market.

The HCM tool called AI Works will be available using a straightforward cost model that includes any implementation and configuration work required by customers in early 2016 reported bloomberg.


AI Works offers customers a much lower total cost of ownership compared with Workday, SAP, and Oracle whose solutions often require costly customization. Designed to break away from the traditional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) model, AI Works offers unprecedented speed, artificial intelligence capabilities, integration of productivity tools, and a focus on productivity: Speed: AI Works offers a responsive speed usually found only in consumer applications. The system has a response time of approximately 100 milliseconds, enabling an unprecedented end user experience. Reduction of Manual Input: Using artificial intelligence, AI Works is able to make inferences from the past actions of users to immediately provide desired information based on user demands.

The HCM system will include the entire gamut, such as onboarding, payroll, management of benefits, recruiting, talent management, time and attendance, travel and expense, reporting and learning.  However, the company will use partners for some modules, Kashyap said during an interview at the HR Technology Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas.
